Denise A. Bailey is a wife, the mother of three, and a grandmother of seven. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Robert Morris University where she majored in Business Administration.
Born and raised in the McKeesport section of Pittsburgh, PA, she values having a time with her grandchildren and spending quality time with family and friends. When she is not working, she loves watching romance movies, writing poetry, and being actively involved in her community.
She has always had a passion for working with at-risk youth and enjoys being instrumental in helping them reach their goals in life. Her two philosophies are "REACH ONE TEACH ONE" and "READ TO LEAD".
Denise believes that grandmothers are often the glue and the backbone to their families and that a grandmother's knowledge and wisdom is essential to sharing with all children as they go through growing pains and experience life's rewards and challenges. This is why she choose to start her debut book series with her first book entitled "Grandma's ABC's of Growing Up".
